Dates are when a version reached the App Store, or when the Mac app was published. The Android app carries the same version numbers through Google Play.

1. 1.4.2 iPhone and Android 16 September 2026

   Smarter Ask

   • Ask now understands related concepts and indirect references instead of relying on exact words.
   • It reads more of long meetings, gives focused answers to broad questions, and corrects false assumptions using the meeting evidence.

   Clearer action cards

   • Meeting actions show the moment and context they came from.
   • Cards flag missing dates, times, recipients, or assignees so you know what still needs attention.
   • Field changes appear as a reviewable draft before they are applied, and task assignees can be edited directly.

   Meeting reliability

   • Meeting language stays aligned across transcripts and minutes.
   • Old recording states reconcile with the server instead of remaining stuck in progress.
2. 1.4.1 iPhone and Android 13 September 2026

   Ask history

   • Ask now saves real conversations automatically and keeps meeting-specific conversations separate from general Ask.
   • Empty conversations no longer appear in History, and your conversations remain available across signed-in devices.

   Action follow-ups

   • When you ask EchoPilot to revise a task, reminder, note, or other action, the revised draft now appears on the card for review.
   • Apply, Edit, and Discard controls are aligned consistently, and a revision is never applied or sent until you choose it.

   Integrations

   • Connected-service status refreshes more reliably across devices.
   • Microsoft Account, To Do, and Teams now stay in one consistent account state and recover safely when a setting changes elsewhere.

   Reliability

   • Sign-in and token refresh are more resilient during normal use.
3. 1.4.0 iPhone and Android 12 September 2026

   Export exactly the part of a meeting you need, in the format you need it.

   Export

   • Choose what to export first: the whole meeting, the summary and notes, or the transcript on its own. Then choose PDF, Markdown or plain text.
   • Exports now open with the date and length of the meeting, and list who took part when EchoPilot knows.
   • The transcript comes out line by line, with a timestamp on each line.
   • PDFs use EchoPilot's own typefaces, so Urdu, Hindi and Arabic look the way they do in the app.
   • If the transcript cannot load, the summary and notes still export.

   Recordings with no speech

   • A recording that picked up no speech now says so, and is marked No speech in Sessions. You can delete it from the menu.

   Keeping your audio safe

   • Your phone now keeps a meeting's audio until EchoPilot confirms it is stored, even after the minutes are ready. Finishing that save never makes the minutes again or sends you a second notification.

   Your plan

   • Changes to your plan show up when you come back to the app, without restarting it.
4. 1.4.0 Mac 11 September 2026

   EchoPilot Desktop now shares its version numbers with the phone app, starting at 1.4.0.

   Opening EchoPilot

   • Open EchoPilot now opens a normal app window. On a Mac it takes its place in the Dock and the app switcher, so it no longer disappears behind the next thing you click.
   • Close the window and EchoPilot goes back to the menu bar. A recording or an upload in progress carries on.
   • Open EchoPilot is now in the menu bar menu too, next to Show panel.
   • Clicking the Dock icon brings the window back, even when it is minimized.

   Staying signed in

   • A dropped connection no longer signs you out. EchoPilot signs you out only when you sign out, or when this computer is removed in Settings > Devices on the web.
5. 1.3.1 iPhone and Android 7 September 2026

   Urdu and Hindi meetings now read the way you set them, all the way through.

   Urdu and Hindi

   • Choose your script once and the whole meeting follows it: the title, the summary, the chapters and the action drafts, not only the transcript.
   • Urdu minutes are written in Urdu. They used to come back as Hindi words spelled in Urdu letters.
   • The transcript reads right to left.
   • Urdu is set in a new typeface, sized to sit level with the rest of the app, so a paragraph no longer reads like verse.
   • Previews on Home, Sessions and Search now match the meeting they open.

   Starting a recording

   • Hold the record button to choose between a voice note and a meeting, instead of going to Home first. A tap still starts a voice note, so nothing you already do has changed.

   When a meeting cannot be made

   • A meeting that failed now tells you why, and offers only what will actually help. If the audio is still uploading it waits and says so. If another device recorded it, it tells you to open EchoPilot there. If part of the recording is gone for good, it offers to make the minutes without it and tells you how much is missing.

   Your Meeting Minutes

   • A quiet notice on the meetings list once most of the period is spent, with the date it resets, and one before the introductory allowance ends.
   • On the free plan, a warning with the exact date before source audio and the full transcript expire. Nothing is removed without notice.
   • A meeting that stops at the length your plan funds says so afterwards, on the result screen, rather than interrupting the recording.

   Subscriptions

   • If you subscribed on the web, Settings now opens the right place to manage it instead of sending you to the store.

   Fixes

   • A meeting you have just stopped stays in Sessions while it is being made. It used to vanish from the list until the minutes were ready, and could still be found on the web.
   • Screens no longer say there is nothing while they are still loading.

   Record without a connection

   • A meeting recorded with no signal is held safely on your device and uploads on its own once you are back online and EchoPilot is open. There is no Upload button to find and no screen to keep open.
   • A notification tells you when the minutes are ready and opens that meeting.
   • A meeting that cannot upload yet waits and retries instead of holding up the others behind it.

   Urdu, Hindi and other scripts

   • Minutes, transcripts and Ask answers now choose the right script and typeface for the language they are in, and right-to-left text reads in the correct direction.
   • An Urdu sentence that opens with an English word no longer renders backwards.

   Ask

   • A question about a meeting can come back as a structured answer: a follow-up email, a table of who said what, or a numbered plan.
   • Answers are drawn with the app's own components, and each block keeps the typography of its own language.

   Fixes and polish

   • A meeting you have just stopped no longer briefly reappears as "Recording in progress".
   • Sessions shows clearer progress while a meeting is still being processed.
   • The subscription screen names where your access comes from and when it ends.
6. 1.2.2 iPhone and Android 2 September 2026

   Meeting Minutes are more dependable, with clearer Pro access.

   Meeting Minutes

   • Long recordings handle backgrounding, audio-route changes, interruptions, and restart recovery more safely.
   • Missing audio is shown as an honest gap instead of being silently joined.
   • Processing waits for a finalized recording and resumes safely after an interruption.
   • Searchable transcripts with playback, structured minutes, Ask, translations, and reviewed action-item drafts remain part of the Meeting Minutes experience.

   Pro access

   • Admin-granted Pro access now syncs before you start a meeting and is shown as granted access rather than an App Store subscription.

   Signing in and polish

   • Redesigned sign-in with Apple's system button and a keyboard-safe layout.
   • Smoother search, navigation, and subscription status.
