Terms of Service
Rules for using EchoPilot, our website, and connected integrations.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EchoPilot, including the EchoPilot iPhone, Android, Apple Watch, Mac and Windows apps, the EchoPilot web app, the echopilotapp.com website, and any connected integrations (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Who you are contracting with
EchoPilot is operated by XSTOCK SUITE LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States (filing ID 2025-001680109), with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. "EchoPilot", "we", "us" and "our" in these Terms mean XSTOCK SUITE LLC trading as EchoPilot. You can reach us at support@echopilotapp.com.
Web subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Apple bills subscriptions purchased in the iPhone app, and Google Play bills subscriptions purchased in the Android app. See sections 8 and 9, and our Refund Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use EchoPilot. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. The Service
EchoPilot records voice notes and meetings and turns them into material you can review and act on. The Service includes:
- the iPhone and Android apps, which record voice notes and meetings, and the Apple Watch app, which records voice notes;
- the Mac and Windows app, which records a meeting from your computer's microphone together with the audio your computer is playing;
- the web app, where you review, search, edit and act on your recordings. The web app does not record;
- transcripts; Meeting Minutes, including a summary, notes, key points and action items; Ask EchoPilot, which answers questions about your recordings; built-in Tasks, Reminders and Notes; action cards; and integrations that send an action you approve to a service you connect; and
- for organizations with a company agreement with us, an organization workspace in which members can share meetings with their organization.
Transcription, summaries, answers and extracted actions are produced by automated systems and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing each action card before sending it to a third-party service.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us at support@echopilotapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Integrations
EchoPilot supports optional integrations with third-party services and device capabilities including Google Tasks, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Todoist, Slack, Notion, Microsoft services, Apple Reminders, Device Calendar, Apple Notes, WhatsApp, and Mail. Availability and supported operations vary by platform, account type, permission, and provider. Connecting or enabling an integration authorizes EchoPilot to use it only as needed to perform the actions you request. You can disable or disconnect any integration at any time in the app.
Each third-party service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. EchoPilot is not responsible for the availability, behavior, or changes of any third-party service. EchoPilot's use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements; see our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use EchoPilot to violate any law, third-party right, or platform policy.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or abuse the Service.
- Upload or process content you do not have the right to handle.
- Use the Service to generate spam, harassment, malicious code, or content that violates the rights of others.
- Record other people without the notice or consent the law requires, or otherwise in breach of section 7 (Recording other people).
7. Recording other people
EchoPilot is a tool. It does not know who is present in a meeting, and it does not notify participants or obtain their consent on your behalf. It adds no bot or participant to any call.
Before you record anyone else, you are solely responsible for:
- giving every notice and obtaining every consent required by the laws that apply to the recording. Those laws can depend on where each participant is located, and some jurisdictions require every party to a conversation to agree before it is recorded;
- following any workplace policy on recording, and the terms of any meeting or conferencing service you are using;
- where data protection law applies to the people you record, having a lawful basis to record them and to process their personal data with EchoPilot; and
- how you store, share and export the recordings, transcripts and minutes you create.
You must not use EchoPilot to record people covertly where that is unlawful, to record anywhere recording is prohibited, or to monitor or track individuals.
If you use EchoPilot as a member of an organization workspace, the organization is responsible for its members' compliance with this section.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EchoPilot and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your failure to meet the responsibilities in this section.
Our guide to meeting recording consent explains how the rules differ between some countries and US states. It is general information, not legal advice.
8. Subscriptions and payments
EchoPilot Pro is the only paid product we sell. On the website it costs USD 11.99 per month or USD 89.00 per year. The iPhone and Android apps display their store price before purchase. EchoPilot is usable without a subscription.
Website subscriptions are purchased and managed through Paddle.com Market Ltd, the merchant of record for those transactions. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, applicable sales tax or VAT, renewals and refunds under its buyer terms. Subscriptions purchased in the iPhone app are billed by Apple and managed in App Store subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased in the Android app are billed by Google Play and managed in Google Play subscriptions. Either purchase grants Pro to the same EchoPilot account across devices. A cancelled subscription keeps access until the end of the paid period.
9. Refunds
For a website purchase, ask within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full, without needing a reason. Our full Refund Policy covers website subscriptions. For a subscription billed by Apple, request a refund through Apple; for one billed by Google Play, through Google Play. Nothing in these Terms removes a statutory right to cancel or to a refund where you live.
10. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you create with EchoPilot (voice notes, transcripts, action cards). You grant EchoPilot a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service. EchoPilot branding remains our property.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcription and extraction may be incomplete or incorrect; always review action cards before relying on them or sending them elsewhere.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoPilot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or US $100, whichever is greater.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a harmful way. Surviving sections include recording other people, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes appear in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the EchoPilot operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
