“Let us pick this up on Tuesday at ten.” Everyone in the room agrees, and nobody puts it in the calendar. EchoPilot hears the time, drafts the event, and waits for you to say yes.
What lands in Google Calendar
An event, with a title that says what it is for, the start time that was said and an end time. If the conversation gave a duration, the event lasts that long; if it did not, the card proposes a length, and you can change it before you approve. A location goes in when one was named, “all day” makes it an all-day event, and the notes carry the context. The card shows the moment in the recording the time came from, so you can hear exactly what was agreed before you approve it.
On your calendar, not in anyone’s inbox
EchoPilot adds the event to your own calendar and adds no guests, so nobody receives an invitation from it. If the other people should be invited, open the event in Google Calendar and invite them yourself, when you are sure of the time.
Events go to your primary calendar unless you choose another. Settings lists the calendars you can write to, so a follow-up can land on a work calendar rather than a personal one.
Nothing appears until you approve it
Nothing is added to Google Calendar until you confirm the card. You can change the time, rename the event, change the destination if EchoPilot guessed wrong, or discard the card entirely.
Editing after it has been added
Once the event exists, EchoPilot can still rename it, change its notes, move its time, change its location, or make it all-day from the card. Deleting the event, or sending the card to a different destination, asks you to confirm first.
Connecting
Connect Google Calendar in Settings. It uses OAuth, so EchoPilot never sees your password, and it asks for two things only: permission to manage events, and permission to read your list of calendars so you can choose one. The stored credentials are encrypted at rest. Disconnecting stops future cards from routing to Google Calendar and leaves every event you already added exactly where it is.
If you would rather not connect a Google account, a card can go to the calendar on your phone instead, which syncs however that calendar already syncs. Both are on the integrations page.
